Well, I've got rebecca up and running and she steems stable.
My new Blosxom powered weblog, (is blosxom working?) is not being as nice as one would hope. It's a great piece of software and the installation is truly easy and well documented. All of a sudden though everything just randomly starts breaking with these server errors (usually after i install a new plug-in...).
Getting a wiki up and running has been a bitch too. I started with purplewiki, then tried kwiki, and I'm about to just go back to good old UseMod.
The craziest part of the whole thing is that in the end, I'm actually enjoying all this.
I've finally got my own little dedicated server running Mac OS 10.2.8. Her name is rebecca and she began her life as a Beige G3 server...
Anyway. I plan to completely rebuild my site and host everything myself. It should be fun.
My old site is getting very outdated. I've got some pretty ambitious ideas for the new site, and I don't really know what I'm doing yet, just that it's possible (once i learn perl, and actionscript, and css2...).
For the time being howerver I think that I'm going to make the rett.org frontpage point to some sort of daily-build-in-progress site. Spice things up a little.
